Shhh! Hush and don’t get caught… we are in 1930 Chicago and we are about to enter a speakeasy, one of those places where they allegedly only drink soda and malts, but which actually hide many surprises. At the agreed upon nod only we “in the loop” know, everything is transformed and the gray, sad dive leaves room to a wild party animated by attractions, comedians and outlandish characters.
Once again at Le Musichall nothing is as it seems: everything can happen inside a speakeasy and everything that happens remains inside, sheltered from prying eyes.
The new show signed by Arturo Brachetti and Stefano Genovese leads the audience into a wild party from the 1930s, made of sharp satire and long legs in fishnet stockings, eclectic Ceremony Masters and Chanteuses of old, contemporary parodies and seductive dancers, outlandish comedians, swing music, poetic visions and lashing transgressions.
A journey to almost 100 years ago, to a past time resonating in the now…
